Artist Statement
My work explores the relationship between knowledge and perception. I use installation, sculpture, and video to create immersive and dynamic environments that manipulate time and space. I am interested in augmenting the value attributed to ordinary objects or information to alter the ways in which they are perceived. My current research stems from the desire to expose, distort, and sometimes sever the connections between past and present in order to propose alternative models for understanding time.
